Mike Williams

Michael was born in Dayton, Ohio. He gave his life to the Lord in 1987 at the age of 14. In 1996, he began his work in ministry as a Camp Pastor/Bible Study Leader for Afro-Centrifuge (An Inner-City Missions Arm of Lifeway). That summer he discovered his pastoral calling and was motivated to finish college in order to continue working with Youth and Young people. In 1997 Michael received his B.A. in Music Education from Kentucky State University. Subsequently, he became a music teacher in Brooklyn, NY. He taught school there for two years until he was prompted by God to pursue his ministry calling by attending Bible College. This resulted in him moving to Oklahoma in 1999 to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. He graduated from Rhema in 2001 and got married later that year.
In 2003 Michael and his family relocated from Tulsa,Ok to Nashville, TN. Since then, he worked for the Youth Life Learning Center, a non-profit, faith-based organization, as a Lead Teacher and Volunteer Coordinator throughout the academic year and as the Camp Director from 2004 until 2009 when he became an Associate Pastor at Bethel World Outreach Church. He worked at Bethel in various roles including Pastoral Care Pastor and Children’s Pastor until 2018. Currently, he serves at Lighthouse Christian School as the Campus Pastor. Michael has been married for 18 years and has three wonderful daughters.
